Philanthropy 1-2-3

As a chapter we support multiple societies such as:

-Relay for Life
-Big Brothers/Big Sisters
-Habitat for Humanity

Our Chapter also continues involvement in foundations such as:
-American Cancer Society
-Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
-Tsunami Relief
-Multiple Sclerosis Research

          
We fundraise for the Rose McGill Fund: Established in 1922, this Fund confidentially aids deserving Kappas of all ages who are in need of financial support due to illness or misfortune. Some other fundraisers that the Gamma Eta chapter has been involved in are:
-Hosting a Dodgeball tournament
-Selling Cupcakes
          
On greek-wide ‘Day of Service’ in the Fall, we sent more than 8 groups of women to volunteer at various organizations around town including:
-Palouse Habitat for Humanity
-Whitman Senior Living’s Alzheimer’s walk
-Bishop Place
-Palouse Science Discovery Center
-Palouse Humane Society
-Local schools
