Chapter Recruitment

Summer has ended, school is starting, and formal recruitment is happening! August is an exciting time for Kappa Kappa Gamma. Not only are we all catching up on the fun we’ve had during summer and getting ready for a fresh semester, but we are getting prepared for something that we all love: RECRUITMENT! Recruitment gives us the opportunity as a chapter to bond and share with others just how close we hold Kappa Kappa Gamma to our hearts. The Gamma Eta chapter does require a potential member to have attained at least a “B+” average from high school or a “B-” for the previously completed term as a full-time university student.

​Tips for Recruitment:​

Be genuine- We are looking forward to getting to know YOU. The recruitment process is about finding a chapter whose values match your own.
Keep an open mind- forget any stereotypes you may have about individual chapters and Greek Life in general.
Get to know the chapters- do not be afraid to ask questions!
Try it out- even if you're unsure about going Greek, Sorority Recruitment is a wonderful opportunity to meet people and make friends!
Trust the process- Recruitment is a mutual selection process. If you keep an open mind, positive outlook and maximize your options, you WILL be happy in the end!
Lastly and most importantly- HAVE FUN!
